Interact has today (31 March 2025) launched its new collaboration universe.
You can now sign up to our new Microsoft powered environment - replacing our old IBM tools. Soon, you will need to register in the new environment to come to Interact events.
The new MS environment will offer:
- Users the opportunity to have multiple profiles attached to one email address, recognising that often those in Interreg can have different roles for different programmes, or just many roles!
- More options for communication preferences, allowing you to opt in (or out of) more specific communications from Interact.
- A better-connected collaboration space, using a small number of profile-based Teams supported by SharePoint to create both easy interactions (Teams), and much improved navigation and an overview of the ongoing work where Interact is co-creating with Interreg (SharePoint).
You can already create your profile in the new system here: Portal.Interact.eu
You will need to create a new profile, providing contact details, and adding a contact profile. Here you can select your type of institution, from a list that include programme MA and JS units, as well as every organisational body from Auditors to Sea Basin Strategy (albeit under MRS!) units. Each institution type enables the selection of the relevant body and more. You can also opt-in to the Newsflash, and to receiving personalised communication from us.
Two-systems for two months
During April and May, Interact will be running events in both systems. Any event where registration opened before the switch will be administered in IBM (physical events until end of May).
This is to enable the smallest disturbance to users in engaging with us, and in particular to ensure access to events is not impacted by this switch.
The Interact Collaboration Platform will be available until 31 August in Read only mode, to enable the transfer of files and knowledge from the old to the new.
