Networks and communities
Interact offers a number of exchange opportunities for those working in cooperation. In addition to events, Interact offers online spaces where programmes can exchange.
Following the adoption of new IT tools, we are in the process of updating Interact's website to reflect the key changes.
Join our new Communities
New communities exist in the Microsoft environment, with both MS Teams and SharePoint sites to support exchange with Interact, and with other programmes.
Anyone involved in Interreg can register for an account with Interact via our portal, and browse all communities (once you have an account).
If you have troubles setting up an account, you can contact us on tech.support[at]interact.eu
About our 'old' Communities
The existing IBM Communities will be maintained until 31 August 2025, when they will be fully replaced by the new MS environment.
The full list of Communities is set out below, along with links and a contact person. If you are not a member of a Community already, you will first need to ask the contact person to add you. All communities are also set out on the relevant pages of our website to navigate you to the most useful exchange point.
Additionally, Interact occasionally establishes smaller 'Working Groups' to work on specific elements of Interreg, such as key Interact tools, or novelties in Interreg. The current active Working Groups are:
- Indicators ("Informal Working Group on indicators")
- Performance-based approach ("The Performers")
- State aid
If you have any general questions about our Communities or Working Groups, please contact the communication[at]interact.eu
Programme content focused communities
Interact's geographical and strand-based communities offer more general exchange points between programmes. You can find these pages from the top menu, or by clicking this link.
In addition, Interact has direct support for external cooperation, providing a network for Interreg IPA (listed below), supporting TESIM's networks for NEXT and providing more direct support for Outermost regions (OMR).
