Communication rules

The rules of communication in Interreg are set out in the wider regulations governing Interreg and EU funds.

Interact promotes the exchange of experiences and solution finding between programmes on the practical application of the rules, which have additional focus in the 2021-2027 period as financial penalties for non-compliance have been introduced.

The publication of the Articles most impacting communication is available to read and offers a quick reference guide to the most important articles in the three regulations. Of course, before relying on anything, you should check the regulation directly!

What we are working on

A certified training on the 'Fundamentals of programme communication' has launched, and is open for registration early in 2024, and cover the key requirements as set out in the regulation.

The subject will also be discussed and reviewed at future ICON (Interreg Communication Officer Network) meetings, as well as at the Interreg Knowledge Fair.
