Interreg Surgery: The preparatory projects approach
The aim of the Interreg Surgery series of events is to put the spotlight on innovative programme management approaches.
At this event, we will be looking at the “preparatory projects” approach. The aim of this approach is to enable potential project partners to develop high-quality applications, by allocating funding to application development. The approach allows partnerships to build connections and explore the feasibility of their ideas, among other benefits. How to ensure the highest quality project applications is a challenge that all Interreg programmes face.
During a short and interactive session, attendees will have the chance to examine this approach in detail and ask questions of a programme already using this practice.
The aim of the event is to inspire participants with innovative approaches to widespread issues. By the end of the session, participants will have gained information on whether the “preparatory projects” approach, or similar, could also be applied to their programme.
Who is this Interreg Surgery for?
The event is intended for Interreg programme staff interested in learning about the preparatory projects approach as an innovative practice to increase participation in their programmes and improve the quality of projects.
