Strengthening cooperation: Interreg programmes and EUSBSR policy area coordinators meeting

Baltic Sea Programmes supporting MRS

This online discussion aims to strengthen practical cooperation between Interreg programmes and the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR), fostering synergies and enhancing impact across the region. It will serve as a platform to establish closer contacts and support thematic discussions between programmes and policy area coordinators.

With the ongoing revision of the EUSBSR Action Plan, this is an opportunity to align efforts, improve coordination, and explore ways to work together more effectively.

Objectives:

  • Connect with policy area coordinators and receive updates on the ongoing EUSBSR Action Plan review.
  • Initiate exchange on practical cooperation between the programmes and the Policy Area Coordinators and other EUSBSR stakeholders, as well as identify areas where Interreg programmes can contribute to EUSBSR thematic implementation.
  • Launch the discussion on what is needed to ensure greater uptake of project results and stronger links to policy processes in the Region.

Who is it for?

This event aims to bring together the representatives of Interreg programmes, including Managing Authorities and Joint Secretariats, as well as EUSBSR stakeholders.
