South-West Europe network financial seminar

Following the needs assessment led by Interact throughout the Southern Member States, the need for a seminar focusing on the financial aspects of the programmes in South-West Europe was identified. Thus, the network was kicked off in 2018, with physical meetings in Madrid. As the work-related meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic were moved online, we now consider the following meetings to be physical. However, the upcoming meeting only remains online. 

The network has a practical problem-solving approach, focusing on exchanging information and sharing experiences, practices, and lessons learned. 

This meeting aims to harmonise the different levels of knowledge on specific finance aspects, exchange and hold discussions concerning applicable legislation, and share information and ideas on specific issues.

The target public will be the staff of the different authorities of the South-West Europe programmes. The event will be actively supported by the European Commission.

About the Network: Interact facilitates this network of South-West Europe programmes dedicated explicitly to the financial management of the programmes. The network started in 2018 and is composed of Interreg programmes South West Europe (SUDOE), Spain-France-Andorra (POCTEFA), Spain-Portugal (POCTEP), EURO Mediterranean (EURO MED), Mediterranean Sea Basin (NEXT MED), Atlantic Area, Madeira-Azores-Canary Islands (MAC).
