The maritime dimension of 2021-2027 programming

Tuesday, 24 November, 2020
Online 10:00 - 12:30 CET

Interreg programmes for 2021-2027 are under preparation. A number of these operate in a maritime geography and/or maritime thematic context. The question was raised within Interact’s Knowledge of the seas network of maritime Interreg programmes on when, where and how to include the maritime dimension into the 2021-2027 programming.

The aim of the event is to discuss three key questions on the maritime dimension of 2021-2027 programming. These questions were identified through an informal online exchange within the Knowledge of the seas network in August. These key questions concern the strategic, the content and the implementation level:

1. How and when to come to a joint understanding and joint decision on the maritime dimension of the future programme?
2. How to design the future programme's maritime dimension, portfolio and content? Who and what can help?
3. How to implement the maritime dimension? Which programme management arrangements to consider?

The event is targeted at representatives from the (present and future) programmes’ Managing Authorities and Joint Secretariats and others involved in the preparations of the 2021-2027 programmes. As the event is organised in a workshop style and wants to enable interactive participation and discussion among the participants with the aim to come up with operational answers and solutions, the number of participants will be limited.

Please note the event may be (partly) recorded.

The registration is closed and the event is fully booked.
