Questions to be analysed by the Project

  • Cross-border practices are emerging throughout Europe and require an appropriate training organisation for the practices and requirements of the INTERREG programmes financing them.
  • There are many sources of training for cross-border cooperation which - these require organisation and adaptation for cross-border professions and activities.
  • An extremely diverse range of initiatives for research into cross-border areas have been set up - these should be "connected" with the realities in the field and concrete projects.

Objectives

  • To increase the professionalism of the organisations and individuals involved in cross-border cooperation via the development of initial or ongoing training initiatives.
  • To enable cross-border professionals to carry out exchanges regarding their practices by means of the transmission and appropriation of best practice and expertise as well as linking up researchers and organisations active in the territories.
  • To collectively and progressively develop a shared culture for transfer to the new EU Member States.

Outputs

  • A network of resources, skills and training bodies.
  • A website.
  • New training units with participants from all over Europe.
  • A cross-border forum each year.
