EuroTool

EuroTool’s main goal was to facilitate the search for partners in other European regions, particularly those that are geographically remote.

EuroTool consists of a complete database containing basic information about each European region or organisation. EuroTool aims to favour the application of all the INTERREG programmes and others of an interregional nature, especially in terms of the creation of partnerships. From 2007 onwards, an appropriate search for partners would guarantee the success of transnational and interregional projects. As well as helping to improve these programmes, EuroTool will also act as a means of registering and reflecting the experiences and good practices acquired by European actors in project management. This will be done via a three-step programme: (1) the creation of a database containing information about European regions, institutions and organisations; (2) the publication and distribution of this tool; and (3) the organisation of a large meeting forum.
