Monitoring Systems Network

Following the request of ETC programmes, INTERACT established a network of ETC practitioners dealing on daily basis with electronic monitoring systems of their programmes.
Each European Territorial Cooperation programme has obligation to create and maintain 'reliable accounting, monitoring and financial reporting systems in computerised form'.
The systems differ significantly from one programme to another. Some programmes use national monitoring systems, others developed their systems in cooperation with other programmes and some have a system created only for their specific needs.
During the networking meetings organised by INTERACT, participants focus on comparing monitoring systems used in their programmes and exchange experiences and good practices.
Discussions focus on issues currently faced by programmes as well as challenges for the 2014-2020 period.
Three meetings of the Network took place so far, materials from each meeting are available here:
- 8-9 September 2010 in Budapest, Hungary
- 11-12 May 2011 in Gdansk, Poland
- 18-19 January 2012 in Lille, France
Next meeting is preliminarily scheduled for the end of 2012.
