DG Regio Mailing 24 June 2010 - Modification of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006
In its mailing of 24 June to managing authorities of ETC programmes the European Commission clarified the following:
We are pleased to inform you that the modification of Regulation 1083/2006 has been published on the Official Journal of the European Union; Regulation (EC) No 539/2010 will enter into force on 25 June 2010.
In particular, programmes should take note that for the purpose of the automatic decommitment, the 2007 annual commitment will be splet over the following 2008 to 2013 annual commitments. Programmes are not required to provide financial documentation with this regard, as the Commission make the calculation within the automatic decommitment procedure.
