Danube Future leaders’ conference, 8-9 July 2010 Novi Sad, Serbia
Conference of future leaders’ in the Danube Region was organised at the Petrovaradin fortress in Novi Sad (Serbia)
Conference brought together future leaders from all Danube countries in the interest of better understanding of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region, while raising awareness among young people about key concepts of the Strategy.
National coordinators from countries in the Danube region invited young people already active in the fields relevant for EUSDR – environmental protection, culture, science, transport, infrastructure, public administration and non-governmental sector. Representatives from the European Commission, institutions, and NGOs active in Danube region, also participated at the conference.
The conference was held under the auspices of the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, who is also the National Coordinator for the Danube Region Strategy in Serbia.
