Labgroup
The Danube Region Strategy Labgroup is a think tank working on operational aspects of the EUSDR implementation.
In 2011, INTERACT Point Vienna is setting up a "Danube Labgroup," a think tank which reflects on the effects and concerns, as well as new challenges and potentialities, of the macro-regional strategy for day-to-day management of different operational programmes.
The Labgroup brings together representatives from:
- Territorial Cooperation programmes and national coordination authorities,
- Convergence and Competitiveness and Employment programmes and/or and national coordination authorities,
- International financing institutions, such as the European Investment Bank,
- EU Commission, DG Regional Policy,
- and Priority Area Coordinators.
The Labgroup shall build on practical expertise of its members and support the development of operational guidance for the implementation of the strategy.
