INTERACT Point Turku
INTERACT Point Turku, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Economy of Finland, is one of the four Interact points. Its geographical scope covers the north eastern area of the European Union.
Services from IP Turku focus on ten cross-border cooperation programmes. In addition, IP Turku is the information link for some transnational cooperation and network programmes. IP Turku serves as the coordinating point for INTERACT ENPI activities. For a full list of these programmes please see the my INTERACT Point page on this website.
Services
IP Turku services for programmes are designed in coordination with the rest of the Interact Points and the Programme Secretariat. As with all INTERACT Points, IP Turku services demand responses and target a specific geographical area.
Such services are varied. They can range from events such as conferences, seminars and workshops, to specific activities such as advisory services. In addition, the establishment of thematic networks and the delivery of studies and publications, as well as the elaboration of guides and handbooks, are among services provided by INTERACT Point Turku.
One of the major additional tasks, since year 2009, is to lead and develop the Laboratory Group for the implementation of the first EU macro-regional Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).
