What is INTERACT?

Interactive? Inter-cultural? Inter-connected?

Yes, all that and even more: INTERACT is based on "Animation, Cooperation and Transfer" for European cooperation programmes and this is exactly what we do.

Since 2003 we have been delivering services to European Union programmes working with European Territorial Cooperation: we are the European programme created especially for assisting territorial cooperation programmes.

What does INTERACT do?

We provide practical support, training and advice to European Territorial cooperation programmes on management techniques, financial issues, European regulations, communication, strategic orientation and policy development.

We also offer a unique forum for European Territorial Cooperation stakeholders by supporting institutional and thematic networks on topics of common interest.

We offer regular advertised services for all programmes, but we can also be contacted at any time by any programme to provide tailor-made services meeting specific programme needs.

Cooperation at EU external borders

IPA CBC

INTERACT also provides guidance to cooperation programmes between Member States and Candidate and Potential Candidate Countries, co-financed by the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA). More information is available here: http://www.interact-eu.net/ipa/ipa_general/29/14

Which bodies does INTERACT support?

INTERACT II supports e.g. Managing Authorities, Joint Technical Secretariats, Monitoring Committees, National Contact Persons, First Level Controllers, Certifying Authorities and Audit Authorities across Europe.

How is INTERACT funded?

INTERACT has a total budget of 40 million EUR for the 2007-2013 period (85% ERDF funding and 15% national contributions) co-financed by the Member States, Norway and Switzerland.
