The Mediterranean Lab Group set up by INTERACT Point Valencia and comprising 13 ETC programmes held an event in order to present the first results of its investigation activities in the field of capitalisation during a thematic one-day meeting on natural risk projects
INTERACT Point Valencia gathered experts, programme and project practitioners from the Mediterranean area to share experiences and results of project activities dealing with a major priority of the area: natural risks. The first part of the event consisted in a round table debate with thematic experts who discussed good practices achieved by ETC and INTERREG projects on natural risks (prevention and management), while in the afternoon, two workshops assessed in how far the current tools need to be finetuned for the future (operational programmes, calls for proposals) to better respond to thematic challenges.
The example of forest fires was presented as an example of a delivery of one of the thematic poles developed.
