INTERACT Point Vienna held Closing meeting of Cross-programme evaluation INTERACT Pilot in Vienna, Austria on 28-29 June 2010
The main objective of this event was presentation of key findings of operational and thematic evaluation, as well as discussion on the process of evaluation. Additionally a short debate about the macro-regional strategies, and their link to the ETC took place. INTERACT also presented other activities in the field of evaluation, as well as possible future steps in CP evaluation.
Cross-Programme evaluation is a pilot exercise implemented by INTERACT Point Vienna for Programmes from Central and Eastern Europe. Two parallel evaluations are being performed - one on operational and other on thematic aspects. 14 programmes participate in evaluation of operational aspects (focused on project generation, assessment and selection aspects) and 12 Programmes in thematic evaluation (aimed at showing added value of the European Territorial Cooperation). The whole process started in January 2010 and will be finished soon. As an outcome two reports will be prepared and published.
