North Sea Region Postpones Fifth Call for Applications
05.03.2009 | Source
The INTERREG IVB North Sea Region Programme has postponed its fifth call for applications.
At a Monitoring Committee meeting in Karlstad on 25-26 February the decision was taken to postpone the programme's fifth call for applications until further notice. It is likely that this will now be opened in 2010. This does not influence the ongoing fourth call.
The decision was taken after an evaluation of what the Monitoring Committee called the "tremendous success" of the programme in approving 28 projects and allocating 51% of the ERDF money available during the first three calls. It was decided that recent progress should be assessed and further discussed before launching a new call, in order to build on the programme's success and maximise its impact in the future.
