NWE Programme Approves Eight Projects

The North West Europe Programme has approved eight projects, allocating a total of EUR 34.2 million.
The Programme Steering Committee (PSC) approved 8 of the 28 project applications submitted to the third call for proposals.
The meeting was held in Lucerne on 4-5 December 2008 and the Committee allocated a maximum of EUR 34.2 million (10% of the total Programme funds). Almost EUR 129 million (39%) of the Programme's funds for the period 2007-2013 have already been allocated.
North West Europe' fourth call for proposals was also announced. It will run from 20 March to 17 April 2009. The fifth call is expected to close in early October 2009.
Applicant workshops will take place in January and February 2009.
