Launching of the INTERACT ENPI Laboratory Group on Procurement and Large Scale Projects

The first meeting of the INTERACT ENPI Laboratory Group on Procurement and Large Scale Projects took place on 9 September in Brussels.
The Laboratory Group is an informal working group initiated by the INTERACT ENPI project. The complex issue of the procurement procedures within the ENPI CBC grant contracts as well as the large scale projects’ selection and implementation is addressed in the Laboratory group.
The task of the group is to define the main questions to be addressed concerning these 2 topics as well as to discuss on possible solutions. The participants are the representatives from the ENPI CBC Programmes which have foreseen the Large scale projects, as well as INTERACT ENPI project, EuropeAid, RCBI project and external experts.
The working term of this Laboratory Group will cover the latter half of the year 2009, and it will eventually continue in 2010, as long as it is necessary.
