Audit & Financial Management
The theme is designed to support programmes through the provision of guidance in financial management at programme and project level via identification of successful practices and methods related, amongst others, to the control of expenditure and audit.
In order to achieve this aim, the Audit and Finance Network of ENPI CBC programmes has been established and five meetings targeted at financial managers and auditors of ENPI CBC programmes have been organised. During these meetings, a thorough analysis of the three types of audit requirements foreseen in ENPI CBC programmes has been undertaken.
Moreover, outstanding issues concerning financial management and reporting as well as expenditure verification have been discussed. In addition to networking, written guidance in the form of information notes and templates is made available on a regular basis.
Furthermore, INTERACT ENPI organises trainings for auditors and national controllers.
