Article 71 - Description of management and control Systems

Article 71 of Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 requires programme authorities to prepare and submit a description of management and control systems to be validated by an independent assessment body and the European Commission. This document covers all essential bodies and working processes put in place in each programme.

European Territorial Cooperation programme experiences

Below you can find examples, in different languages, of a few successful descriptions of management and control systems from various Territorial Cooperation programmes. Descriptions are accompanied by the report and/or opinion of the concerned compliance assessment body, as well as the Commission's letter or document. These descriptions were kindly made available to INTERACT by the concerned programmes.

Please note that these examples are provided for guidance on how some programmes have complied with regulatory requirements as well as the level of detail required. Any programme using these examples must, of course, adjust all content to the rules and guidance of its participating Member States.
