INTERACT ENPI Facility for Cross-Border Cooperation programmes at the EU’s external borders under the European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument
Aim
The aim of the project is to provide the ENPI CBC programmes with practical assistance and guidance on management and implementation issues. This includes:
- Advisory services
- Learning events
- Thematic networks
- Laboratory groups
- Conferences, etc.
INTERACT ENPI seeks to stimulate existing expertise and to help programmes share knowledge and best practices by providing a common forum where programmes’ representatives can meet and "interact".
The project aims to:
- Increase efficiency of ENPI CBC programme management
- Increase effectiveness of programme delivery
- Widen know-how transfer and exchange of knowledge
Target groups
The target audiences are institutions and bodies involved in the day-to-day management of the ENPI Cross Border Cooperation programmes:
- Joint Monitoring Committees
- Joint Managing Authorities
- Joint Technical Secretariats
- Joint Selection Committees
- National Contact Points
- Regional and local stakeholders
Approach
The INTERACT ENPI project has a threefold approach:
1) Close cooperation and constant dialogue with ENPI CBC programmes
2) Activities carried out in a pro-active manner taking into account the individual characteristics of the programmes
3) Coordination of the project with other initiatives within the framework of the Territorial cooperation in order to have a maximum impact

Managing Authority of INTERACT ENPI is the Bratislava Self-governing Region, located in Slovakia. To serve the programmes’ needs, INTERACT ENPI Point Turku has been established:
