The aim of the programme is to reinforce coordination between the countries in the area in the field of the environment and trade for the better management of the natural resources. The programme seeks to increase experience and develop meeting grounds with regard to education and training for a better knowledge and understanding of people and their culture, to structure business intelligence networks and to encourage trade and a knowledge of the economies of neighbouring countries for an integrated and sound development, and to develop region-oriented poles of competence to promote local development.
