The programme aims to contribute to: Reinforcing and consolidating the urban system of South-West Europe, to bring dynamism into rural zones and to develop complementary territorial characteristics. Cooperation between adjacent areas. To preserve and improve the heritage value of the natural resources and spaces. To optimise the transport systems and to improve access to the information society. To promote common territorial methods, structures and tools and to reinforce the identity of the cooperation area.

Geographical area

France: The regions of Midi-Pyrénées, Limousin, Auvergne, Aquitaine, Languedoc-Roussillon and Poitou-Charentes. Spain: Whole country. Portugal: Whole country. United Kingdom: Gibraltar
