(Strand B) Transnational cooperation

North Sea

The overall objective for the programme is to stimulate transnational cooperation in the North Sea Region. The seven countries around the North Sea are working together to solve shared problems with the environment and social and economic development. Working together allows partners to share knowledge and experiences, so that they will be better able to secure a sustainable and balanced future for the whole region.

Geographical area

Denmark, the Flemish Region of Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and United Kingdom.
