The vision of the programme is to develop the cross-border region Saxony - Czech Republic within a common sustainable knowledge-based living space, to strengthen cross-border relationships and to adjust the basic structural conditions, to dismantle any disadvantages and strengthen cooperation.

In Germany: Saxony, parts of Thuringia. In Czech Republic: Karlovy Vary, Usti nad Labem and Liberec.
