The overall aim of the programme is regional development, achieved through the means of intensification of cross-border cooperation, approximation of living conditions in all parts of the region. Objectives in a long-term process are maintenance and stabilisation of the decentred-polycentric settlement structure, development of transport infrastructure, reinforcement in the branches of economics, research and development, and leading an active marketing policy for the region to the outside and inside.

Geographical area

The German-Polish border area of the Länder of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern/Brandenburg with the Woiewodschaft Zachodniopomorskie in the Euro region of POMERANIA.
