The aims of the programme are to develop a common economic market and secure occupation possibilities in all sub regions, preserve the attractive life and business area with its valuable landscapes, to improve the ecological situation and increase the quality of life for people in the region and to develop an efficient infrastructure in the area.

Geographical area

Liechtenstein. In Germany: Landkreis Waldshut, Schwarzwald, Baar, Konstanz, Bodenseekreis, Tuttlingen, Sigmaringen, Ravensburg, Lindau, Oberallgäu, Stadt Kempten. In Austria: Vorarlberg. In Switzerland: Graubünden, Glarus, St. Gallen, Appenzell, Thurgau, Schaffhausen, Zürich, Aargau.
