- Quality of projects submitted by local and regional authorities.
- Declining popularity of town partnerships, also due to loss of specific funding.
Objectives
- Increased participation from local and regional authorities in (projects within) the INTERREG programme.
- Improving the quality of (municipal and regional) INTERREG projects.
- Developing a strategy to involve town partnerships in the INTERREG programme, initially from within the partner countries.
Expected outputs
- Practical toolbox for local and regional authorities on (developing) INTERREG projects.
- Strategy on involving town partnerships (and regional authorities) in the INTERREG programme.
- Sustainable pipeline of INTERREG projects with participation of town partnerships.
