Sharing INTERREG experiences
The INTERACT Programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). ERDF helps reduce the gap between development levels and living standards among the regions and the extent to which least-favoured regions are lagging behind. It helps redress the main regional imbalances in the Community by participating in the development and structural adjustments of regions whose development is lagging behind and the economic and social conversion of regions.
INTERACT stands for INTERREG Animation Cooperation and Transfer. INTERACT has a wide geographic scope covering the 27 Member States, Norway, Switzerland and neighbouring countries. The INTERACT Website is as dynamic as the programme itself and aims to provide information on all aspects of INTERREG and the current debate on European Territorial Cooperation.

This website was explicitly adjusted for disabled web users and aims to give everyone the opportunity to access INTERACT Information. It follows the guidelines for a barrier free internet set out in eEurope 2002: Accessibility of Public Web Sites and their Content and the eEurope 2005 Action Plan.
