| Outline | At the request of the Hungarian INTERREG department, INTERACT MT organised an Individual Advisory Service on Financial Management with a special focus on strand C. The expert, Mr Carlos Bolaňos, Financial Manager at the INTERREG IIIC East Secretariat, presented the main requirements for setting up first-level control and some basics on eligibility checking of expenditures, taking concrete Hungarian projects as example cases. 10 staff from the INTERREG and Financial Departments of VÁTI actively participated in the session. The Hungarian authorities took the opportunity to raise their practical financial management questions and discuss possible scenarios for performing first-level control for the respective INTERREG strands. The main outcomes of the discussion were summarised in the form of minutes. |
