| Outline | The workshop addressed among its target group mainly representatives of the Ministry for Economy and Labour, the Ministry of Finance, the Phare Office and colleagues of the 16 Regional Contact Points within the Marshall Offices. Participants generally appreciated the opportunity to meet colleagues having the opportunity to discuss and exchange opinions. This workshop offered a follow-up regarding the topic of "State Aid" although the case studies used showed how important it is to explain concepts in simplified way. The participation of a Polish expert proved how important the background knowledge of the country is in such cases. The presentation regarding INTERREG IIIC was highly appreciated being based on many concrete case studies. Once again the presence of Ms Sheila Maxwell (Pre-Accession Advisor in Warsaw) proved to be of a high added value. The Polish colleagues appreciated also the additional asset provided by the interpretation service. |
