A training session on Financial Management covering the three INTERREG strands was organised for 15 Slovak participants and 4 of their Czech counterparts. Ms Ieva Kalina, head of the Riga secretariat office and in charge of two INTERREG strand A programmes, gave an overview of the INTERREG Community Initiative as a whole and detailed its requirements in terms of reporting, monitoring and financial management. During the afternoon session, case studies on eligibility were discussed with the participants.
