| Summary |
Within the Portuguese presidency, Lisbon played host to a two day forum focused on marking the launch of INTERREG IVC, the new programme for interregional cooperation, and show how INTERREG IIIC has already helped Europe's regions work together and improve regional development. Up to 800 representatives of local, regional and national authorities and other public bodies, in addition to the European Parliament and Committee of the Regions participated.
INTERACT participated in the forum by facilitating and supporting INTERREG IIIC Secreteriat in the workshop sessions. Moreover the INTERACT studies and tools where distributed in a stand set up in the exhibition area. |
