In the view of supporting the drafting team of the future Transnational Cooperation Programme Central European Space (CES), INTERACT Point MTEC, Mauro Novello and Bettina Raffaelsen, expert facilitator recruited by INTERACT Point MTEC, facilitated 4 workshops on the redefinition of the strategic approach and identification of main focus areas of the programme. The results was not a final list but a starting point to be submitted, discussed and approved by the CES Task Force and by the Member States concerned. The participants could agree upon a general strategic approach for the area and could define 5 main focus areas for each ERDF priority (Innovation, Accessibility, Environment, Sustainable Urban Development). Number of Participans: 16 Countries Represented: Austria, Czeck Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovak Republic The participant's were provided with an opportunity to network. Presentation was distributed to all participants. Agenda 20 June 2006 9.00 - 9.30 Introduction of the workshops by representative of the Polish Ministry for Regional Development and by INTERACT MTEC: Presentation of workshop structure, overall backgrounds, common understanding, as well as European Policies and specific objectives for the workshops. 9.30 - 10.30 Developing the Vision, facilitated by INTERACT MTEC: Brainstorming on the strategic approach of the future programme CES: What is the general vision/approach for the future CES programme? What are the general criteria that all objectives of the programme should fulfil? What are the main peculiarities of the CES? 10.30 - 12.45 Workshops on the general objectives of CES programme, as well as the specific focus area (programme priority axes) to be identified by the MS representatives, as a starting point for the task force of the programme Priority 1 Innovation facilitated by Bettina Raffaelsen Priority 2 Accessibility facilitated by Mauro Novello 13.45 - 17.00 Workshops Priority 3 Environment facilitated by Mauro Novello Priority 4 Sustainable urban development facilitated by Bettina Raffaelsen 21 June 2006 9.00 - 10.00 Discussion on strategy and priority axes defined in the previous day. Further reflection. 10.00 - 12.00 Knowledge management World café workshop. Presentation of results by facilitators and discussion in plenary. |
