The NCP (Nominated Contact Person) Network is the backbone structure for coordinating MT services. The NCPs are the primary contact persons for all MT activities in their Member States.

The NCP Network consists of two representatives from each of the five Member States bordering the new Member States as well as from each of the 10 new Member States.

In March 2004 the NCP kick-off meeting took place and in October the NCP meeting II was held in order to identify the priorities for MT services for the year 2005.

On 27 September 2005 the NCP meeting III will take place in Brussels. The NCPs and INTERACT partners will review MT's activities carried out so far and will contribute their ideas to the planning programme for 2006.
