In cooperation with the INTERACT Point Managing Transition and External Cooperation and on behalf of the Austrian Federal Chancellery we are pleased to announce our upcoming Seminar on the Lead Partner Principle and cross-border structures. The seminar will address the following issues reflecting the experiences of the INTERREG IIIA programmes on the Dutch/German border (EUREGIO, Euregio Rhein-Waal, euregio rheinmaas-nord), on the Belgium/Dutch/German border (Stichting Euregio Maas-Rijn), on the Norwegian/Finnish/Swedish/Russian border (Kvarken-MittSkandia and North programme) and on the Irish/Welsh border area:

• Cross-border implementation structures and underlying agreements
• Harmonised procedures, and standardised formats for project application, selection, and implementation
• Tasks and responsibilities of lead partners
• Challenges and preconditions for implementing the Lead partner principle in future programming period
