NCP Network Meeting, Vienna

Abstract
The NCP Network is the backbone structure for coordinating MT services. The NCPs are the primary contact persons for all MT activities in their Member States.
The NCP Network consists of two representatives from each of the five Member States bordering the new Member States as well as from each of the 10 new Member States.
The participants of the Meeting were NCPs and Deputy NCPs, the Members of the Advisory Board, the INTERACT Partners and Guests.
The Meeting achieved the following results:

The NCPs accepted the proposed objectives and sub-objectives and defined priorities for MT services in 2005

The NCPs suggested a number of services which may be delivered in cooperation with the other INTERACT Partners

The NCPs recommended the integration of actors from third countries involved in Neighbourhood Programmes (Tacis, Phare, CARDS)
- The MT team illustrated the four service categories, the phases for delivering services and gave an overview of activities in 2004
- Georg Schadt, from the INTERACT Managing Authority, described the main objectives at the programme level and the expectations of MT for 2005
- Karol Olejnicka, an EPRC Research Associate, summarised the main results of the mid-term evaluations and proposed MT actions for 2005
- Oksana Muzychuk, Executive Director in Lviv, Ukraine, described the current situation and needs of third countries participating in INTERREG programmes
- The NCP will hold the next NCP Network meeting with partners from third countries in April 2005
