After the approval of the Regulation No. 1085/2006 establishing an Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) and with a view to present the new implementing rules of IPA, INTERACT Point Managing Transition and External Cooperation (INTERACT MTEC) together with the European Commission DG ELARG and DG REGIO, intends to organise a workshop in order:

- To present to the IPA implementing rules for the IPA CBC.
- To provide the necessary elements in order to kick-off the process of preparation of the Joint cross border co-operation programmes.
- To provide a discussion forum to enable the participants to raise their open issues.

The participation will be restricted to IPA stakeholders, such as national-, regional- and local authorities that will be involved in the preparation and implementation of the IPA CBC programmes 2007-2013 of following countries:

Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
