This seminar was the last in a series of four put on to support a wide exchange between INTERREG IIIA programmes. 17 cross-border programmes took part in the two days of the seminar ranging from cooperation with Malta in the south to cooperation around the Barents Sea in the north. From coopreation with Russia and Belarus in the east to cooperation across the Channel in the west. In total have 46 out of the 64 running IIIA programmes attended at least one of the INTERACT Qualification and Transfer seminars on IIIA programme management.

Participants got an up-date from DG Regional Policy on the current situation of IIIA and particularly on what are the on-going discussions concerning the next round of programmes. There was also a programme presentation on the experience of merging different programmes under IIA into one programme in IIIA.
