Sharing INTERREG experiences
The conference will offer you the chance to learn about new opportunities in the coming programme, to establish useful contacts for future transnational co-operation and to discuss how projects will address four new co-operation themes: "fostering innovations", "accessibility", "Baltic Sea as common resource" and "improving competitiveness of cities and regions". The event will build upon experiences and results achieved through transnational cooperation in the Baltic Sea INTERREG III B programme, which will come to a close at the end of 2008.
The conference will run in the framework of the German Presidency of the EU Council and the "European Week 2007" organised by the City of Hamburg. We expect to welcome more than 400 participants from municipalities, cities and regions around the Baltic Sea as well as representatives of State Ministries, pan-Baltic organisations and the European Commission to get together for a series of informative presentations and workshops.
