By 31 March 2010 all INTERREG III Programmes have to be closed.

This deadline is set for the submission to the European Commission of

• The final report on implementation
• The final payment application (incl. Certified statement of final expenditure)
• The declaration on winding-up of assistance.

Until then and starting from early 2008, the INTERREG III Programmes, as well as the INTERREG III projects, should plan different steps for a smooth and timely closure.
